gcc/g++でリンカスクリプトを調べる方法を紹介します。

1.問題点

下記のサンプルコードを作りました。

sample.cpp

このコードをビルドするときに実行されるリンカスクリプト(プログラムやデータをどのアドレスに配置するかを決めるためのスクリプト)を調べたいのですが、調べる方法が分かりません。

ということで、リンカスクリプトを調べる方法を紹介します。

2.リンカスクリプトを調べる

リンカスクリプトを調べるには、ビルド時にオプション"-Wl,--verbose"を付与します。

% g++ -Wl,--verbose sample.cpp

"-Wl,option"でオプションoptionをリンカに渡します。

optionがカンマを含む場合、複数のオプションとして分割されます。

リンカオプション"--verbose"は、ld のバージョン番号を表示し、サポートされているエミュレーションをリストします。

コマンド実行結果が下記で、"========"で括られた部分がリンカスクリプトになります。

% g++ -Wl,--verbose sample.cpp
